NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC · PART I · PART II

Somebody has to read the Gazette.

The Gazette runs to hundreds of pages a week. The press gallery does not read it. Lobbyists do. We read every proposed and final federal regulation: what it does, who it hits, what it costs, when it takes effect, and when your comment is due.

What we read

Canada Gazette, Part I and Part II
STEP 01

We read the paper

Part I carries proposed rules. Part II carries the final ones. Both are public. Almost nobody reads them. We do, every day.

STEP 02

We find the catch

What it does, who it hits, what it costs, when it takes effect, and when comments close. The cost is in the fine print, so we read the fine print.

STEP 03

You get the entry

A short entry with the document number and a link to the source text in the Gazette. Then an email to anyone who asked, before the deadline passes.

Every regulation that matters, in plain English, before it bites.

Know before the deadline

One email when a rule is proposed that will cost you money, and a reminder before comments close. No spin. Just the Gazette, read.
